Description
Celadon’s Pierre Fontaine Collection combines fine watercolour and graphite illustrations of the period’s grand architecture with pages of exquisite sketches detailing everything from state beds and tables to chandeliers and wallpapers. Each of the nine pieces is framed in a taupe moulding with a linear texture. Stunning as a set or individual accent. Pierre Leonard Fontaine and Charles Percier were the principle architects, designers and decorators of Napoleon Bonaparte. Their works include the Louvre, Tuileries Palace and the sumptuous palaces of Fontainebleau.
