This interesting little vignette has a pretty important history. Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite is the motto of the French Revolution meaning freedom, equality and fraternity and was the cry used by the revolutionists of the French Revolution in 1789. A fine little ink etching rendered in brown on ivory. Finished in a taupe frame with a linear texture.
