Description
Toni Frissell was an American photographer, known for her work in fashion photography, WWII photography, and portraits of famous Americans, Europeans, children, and women. One of the main aspects of her photos that set her apart from others of the time, was her inclination to shoot outdoors on location rather than in a studio setting. This lead to a distinctive style of spontaneous action shots.
This photograph features skiers from the early to mid-20th century.
